Several weeks back I wrote that Wolf Partners was stepping out of the way to let Talisker proceed with its purchase of The Canyons Resort. And now I’ve heard rumors that a finalized sale may be just around the corner. Pretty good timing considering a Park Record article postulated back in February that Talisker could close on the deal as early as May of this year. Wait. May? You mean next month?….. Um, yes, that May.

With the potential of a finalized sale rearing its beautiful head, it begs the question: What’s going to change? Everything! Nothing!… well most likely it’s somewhere in between. But if you look toward the Empire Pass and Tuhaye developments in which Talisker is entwined, I dare say there are some great things around the corner.

With that in mind, maybe NOW IS THE RIGHT TIME to buy at The Canyons.

So what do you buy? Just because we’ve sold over 350 condos at The Canyons in the last two years doesn’t mean we’re sold out. Check out the recently announced Dakota Mountain Lodge, managed by Waldorf=Astoria. Or if townhomes are more your style, Juniper Landing, Fairway Springs and Vintage on The Strand are all spectacular. If a home is on the list, take a look at The Colony at White Pine Canyon or The Timbers. The point is buy now, because even without my crystal ball, I can say there are great things around the corner at The Canyons Resort!
