With the pending sale of The Canyons Resort in Park City, I’d be remiss to not mention The Colony at White Pine Canyon.
The Colony provides approximately 300 home owners with access to 4,600 acres of pristine terrain, 90% of which will be maintained as open space. Each of these unique homesites was chosen to maximize views and/or privacy, and provides the type of setting that exceeds expectations, even your expectations. I know it has exceeded mine.
Estate-sized ski lots? No, it’s not an oxymoron, but unless you’ve been to The Colony, I can understand your confusion. The Colony stands out as truly unique in this category: These homesites average more than 5 acres, with some coming close to 30 acres. Because of the size of each parcel, the homeowner is also afforded the opportunity to build a home and a guest house on each of the lot.
Right now the developer is selling homesites in the fourth of five phases; in addition, several resales are available. On the market right now, you’ll find homesites ranging from 1.4 million to 2.6 million, and homes from 6.9 million to 28 million.
With new ownership of The Canyons just around the corner, take the time to get familiar with the types of properties that are available. And if you’ve been considering a spot at The Colony, don’t waste any more time. Contact me, and I’ll arrange a private tour.
