I recently discussed with one of my clients what got her thinking about moving to Park City instead of Aspen, Vail, and some of the other mountain ski towns. Her response wasn’t exactly ground shaking, just reaffirming what I think is one of Park City’s biggest sales points: We are amazingly accessible!

What she found is that as she visited other ski towns, she either ended up having to fly into diminutive airports, or driving for hours to finally get to her destination. Park City on the other hand is a short 35 minute drive from Salt Lake International airport (and 20 minutes to the private Heber City Airport).

It’s because of this easy accessibility that the Park City Chamber of Commerce offers a special for out-of-state residents. They call it their Quick START Vacation . It’s our promise that if you catch a morning flight from almost anywhere in the US to Salt Lake City you can be on the slopes of your favorite Park City area resort that afternoon.
